Lighthouse Evaluates New VoIP Products for 2021
With 2020 behind us and new VoIP products are coming onto the market almost weekly, we have been evaluating several VoIP products to introduce in 2021.
Over the past few months, we have had many requests for an Executive IP Desk Phone with a larger display screen as well as a Receptionist IP Console Phone. To answer those requests, we evaluated two larger screen IP phones: the Yealink-T48S and the Fanvil X7C. In addition, we also tested the Fanvil X210 Receptionist IP Console Phone.
Our staff and a few customers evaluated the new IP phones. Everyone liked the features of all the phones. All three of the phones were equal in quality, sound, features, and style.
OUR RESULTS:
Yealink SIP-T48S Touchscreen IP Phone
The Yealink’s touch screen was sensitive and sometimes selected the wrong function during transfers and other functions the during the evaluation.
The more the weeks went on, the more mistakes happened with the touch screen. With customer input, we felt that having buttons instead of a touch screen would better benefit today’s business users.
Rich in features, the Fanvil X210 Enterprise IP Phone is a smart enterprise phone for the executive user. The X210 features two side color displays, both in vibrant color providing the most work efficiency. This high-level IP phone also features Gigabit Ethernet with PoE support and support for EHS, built-in Bluetooth, and WiFi.
